الضفة الغربية منطقة جيوسياسية تقع في فلسطين، سُمِّيَت بالضفة الغربية لوقوعها غرب نهر الأردن. تشكل مساحة الضفة الغربية ما يقارب 21% من مساحة فلسطين الإنتدابية (من النهر إلى البحر) - أي حوالي 5,860 كم². تشمل هذه المنطقة جغرافياً على جبال نابلس وجبال القدس وجبال الخليل وغربيغور الأردن وتشكل مع قطاع غزة الأراضي الفلسطينية المتبقية بعد قيام إسرائيل على بقية فلسطين عام 1948، كما قامت إسرائيل بإحتلال الضفة الغربية وقطاع غزة عام 1967.
West Bank geopolitical region located in Palestine, named after the West Bank because it is located west of the Jordan River. Constitute an area of the West Bank, approximately 21% of the area of Mandatory Palestine (from the river to the sea) - or about 5,860 square kilometers. This area includes geographically Nablus Mountains and the mountains of Jerusalem and Hebron Mountains and west of the Jordan Valley and the Gaza Strip constitute the remaining Palestinian land after the establishment of Israel on the rest of Palestine in 1948, as Israel occupied the West Bank and Gaza Strip in 1967.
